What I would suggest is buy a cheap prepaid phone... Sales people discourage you from doing so is...
If you want those I suggest you rather go Fido... Since Fido would have those at a much better price...
If it's a phone issue I rather you buy a phone separately since it's GSM it's easy to swap phones.
I can't stress enough to tell people you are picking the service, not the phone.

The two companies use different types of technology... either way all virgin phones can only be used on virgin because they're so locked down... And rogers uses sim cards virgin does not
