Not a Brit myself, but I do reside here. Recently there has been a lot of stuff in the media about cash for honors stuff. Basically, from my understanding, the current government was offering "honors/peerages" in exchange for funding. Its quite open so far and the cops have arrested...
Except for the fact that it would only give Hezbollah more recruits as the Lebanese in general wouldn't appreciate the invasion....
It stuns me how Israel is just thinking that maybe the next time there won't be a wall.
