I have a 1998.5 24v turbo cummins diesel 2 wheel drive extended cab 3/4 ton with the 5 speed manual transmission in it and its been straight pipped and k&n air filter in it. It has around 390,000 miles on it. It still runs like a freakin beast
The transformer has three leads out, one black and two yellow. I have one of the yellow and one of the black leads hooked up to a full wave bridge to convert it to dc, but I can't figure out how to use the other 12v lead to come up with 24v dc. I'm new at this, so any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hoping if anyone knows if i replace my 12v battery to a 24 or 16 volt, will it damage my vehicle in any way? And will i need to make any further modification's to the car? This is for car audio so also will it harm my amplifier in any way? Hope you can help?
