Okay I have a pair of 2.5mm head phones witch no longer work. Can I take a 3.5mm headphone and cut the male part off and switch it with the 2.5mm male. Will this work. I don't want to buy a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter or 2.5mm headphone
