I have a Nikon D5100. I want to have the settings setup as Fine and Large which means each file will be about 10MB's big. How many of these 10MB jpeg's can get burned to a DVD?
I expect to take like 800 or so at a wedding this saturday and wondered if they might fit.on one disc.

According to what i am reading there are 1024 mb for 1 gb but when i burn movies there is not enough space on the disc. I am new at this so please help me.

Uncompressed video is at HDTV resolution of 1920x1080 with 256 different colors with 25 frames per second. I understand the time on a 4.7gb (2GB=10^9) DVD will probably be very short, but I also want to know the formula involved. Thanks.

Im backing up my whole hard drive to dvds before i upgrade to windows 7. (yes this is necessary and cds are my only option) im using the windows backup and restore center, and the first dvd which is only 4.7gb has taken 3 hours so far. This makes no sense to me because 4.7gb is about 40 minutes...
