The 7-series a ridiculous boat of a car. I would take a 5-series over the 7 ANY day.

I'm wondering roughly how much parts cost for a early or mid-90's BMW E34 5-series such as the 525i. How much do parts cost compared to other manufacturers? If you own an E34, do you find that maintenance is comparable to other brands? Thanks in advance!
