when ever i go to shift gears i have to shift up or down three or four time and second gear grinds like the clutch hasn't fully in-gaged should i replace the clutch pates and springs?
I got my bike back from the shop today after having it lowered and get a new back tyre and on the way home a few things happened 1) when i was in 2nd gear if i was accelerating slightly aggressive at about 40mph my oil light would go on but if i let off the gas it would go off this happened...

I found a guy selling a 1987 Honda XL 600R for $1500. He said that the bike runs great and it shows 19k on the odometer. To me that sounds like a lot of miles for the money.
Anyone know how these things run? or any problems I might run into?
