I'm looking for a new phone and is wondering if this is any good? Any suggestions are very appreciated.

I bought a verizon blackberry 8703e, and not even verizon can get it to work. Every time I dial a number it displays "Sorry only emergency calls are allowed". I tried the blackberry.com software update, and it states there is no current updates available for it. Help apreciated

I have a PRE-PAID Samsung SCH-u340........and i want to buy a used RIM Blackberry 8703 8703e......i know switch the ESN/MEID numbers...both phones are verizon......but will it work because the blackberry is not pre paid?
