What's the best path to follow in order to become a future astronaut?

Just kind of a dream job. I want to major in Aerospace Engineering maybe minor in Astrophysics and hopefully be good enough to be selected by NASA to be an astronaut. So I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas/tips that could be useful in becoming an astronaut. :D
