The Rings have a recess on one side. Which way up do they fit?

does anyone know how to drestrict suzuki katana ay50 much help appreciated thanks

My Katana's indicators only work when the engine is not on, or when idling, as soon as I rev it they go straight off :S. Any ideas anyone? Thanks, Joe.
