backup or update

    My iPod is taking forever to backup/update to iOS 6?

    My iPod touch 4g (black) is so slow when updating from iOS 4.2.1 to 6. I have the nearest iTunes and stuff, less than 30 apps and about 500 photos/videos. I'm unsure of why it's so slow. Help please! :3
