    What gadget reads the New (colored) bar-codes on everything, nowadays?

    What is the new device (gadget) that reads the new color-coded bar-codes on many places nowadays? Is it (maybe) an iphone, ireader (or whatever name of Electronic gadget) available over-the-counter? I have yet to step into the WIRELESS WORLD since I am already paying for my cable-wired internet...
