I got this phone from a friend but it was jailbroken with blackra1n. So I restored it on itunes, but it still has applications running on background, even though blackra1n is gone. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

I've been looking up how to jailbreak an iPhone 3g or 3gs and I found a website called blackra1n and I saw a guy jailbreak his iPhone using blackra1n and at the end he put in a t-mobile SIM card. Do I need to have a t-mobile SIM to do that? Thanks

After the jailbreak was done and blackra1n said jailbreak successful...it rebooted but never started again. The apple logo shows up for a few seconds and it shuts down! How do I fix this problem without restoring because I didn't back up my stuff?

I did all the instructions found here: http://www.iphonedownloadblog.com/2009/10/11/jailbreak-iphone-blackra1n-tutorial/ but then on step four my iPhone entered recovery mode for only about 10 seconds, then instead of showing a picture of geohot, it went into DFU mode. HELP PLEASE!

It just starts and goes into recovery mode or whatever that is and doesn't go to the picture of the guy with the iphones. It just has a black screen until i reset it. I restored with the firmware and even had all itunes programs closed when I did this. Please help!
