blowback

I have recently upgraded my ARES G36CV Blowback. It is a EBB gun, not GBB. My blowback is no longer working, and I can only pull back the bolt halfway. What could be the problem?

I have heard that it is possible to make what is called a "blowback kit" for airsoft guns. I would like to convert a spring airsoft pistol into gas (co2). If this is possible, how does one perform this task??????
