I have a gas stove. the boiler is on the very bottom and it doesn't really have a play to set something to btoil.... I need to roast some peppers! any ideas!?!
Hi, my combi boiler is losing pressure, as there are no leaks, I tested the auto air vent valve using washing up liquid and it shows a small amount of air is escaping, particularly when I turn on the central heating.
Is air supposed to escape like this from the AAV?
TIA.
I have an old richmond gas boiler. I noticed that the large vent is level. I have no experience in heating, but shouldnt the vent be pitched somewhat to allow the exhaust to leave the house. I would think if its level it is not really venting out properly. Any suggestions?
...out of the vent pipet? It is a little oily but very little odor and will not burn. Is it possible there is a water leak inside
and is making steam up the vent? Have been a plumber for 30 years and have never run into
this.
thank you
Bob
