I'm new to this stuff. I burn MP3 CDs from Itunes on a mac. Unlike with audio CDs, the CDJs don't display the track levels on the display. Otherwise, they play fine. Is this normal?

I can save considerable ££s by buying from an American retailer but how will I know if the decks will work properly, since our plug sockets (and voltages??) differ to theirs?
Is there anything else anyone thinks I should consider before buying from overseas, i.e. potential customs charges etc...
