    CD-Rom/DVD discs not opening when inserted in drives?

    Every time I insert either a CD-ROM or a DVD to my drives on the computer, they NEVER open up! I have to do it manually and then it opens up. Why is it doing this? I have Kaspersky 2010 Anti-Virus.

    I have seemed to have missing registry files for my sony cdrom/dvd drive.?

    a sony dvd rom drive and soundblaster 16 bit card, need to download drivers if you can help
