The car has 113,000 miles on it. It is stick shift. It makes the sound when in neutral and while in gear. When I depress the accelerator harder or release the accelerator/increase or decrease revs it goes away.

...gear u are in the less chatter? I had the clutch done about 8k miles ago, and it's not low on oil..... the clutch is adjusted, and it runs well otherwise. The tranny appeared to be fine when the clutch was done. Flywheel ? (not again!) Torque converter ?
