    Compressor whines during acceleration?

    My compressor is making a whining noise "only when the rpm goes up" and "only when the AC is on" My engine has only one belt therefore the compressor does not have an independent belt. I turn the ac off, the whining goes. I turn it on and it comes! My AC blows cold btw what is the problem?

    1998 Dodge Caravan A/C Compressor Won't Turn On?

    When I turn on the A/C the Compressor won't engage.I only get hot air. I have checked the fuses but didn't find anything related to the A/C and no power passes to the compressor. Any help will be good I have also checked to see if There were any leaks but didn't find any.

    Does my 2006 Pontiac Torrent have a cycling switch for the ac compressor?

    My ac is freezing up while driving after 15 to 20 minutes. I've taken it to the shop to be repaired and they replaced the expansion valve, but it's still freezing up. I read on another sight that this might be caused by a cycling switch and wanted to know if that could be the case in my Pontiac.
