conveter

ok im looking for something that i can use to convert my dvds to blue ray but im not sure whats it called

i downloaded utorrent and i want to be able to copy my downloaded movies on to a dvd disk, will this help me to that. i try to burn them from windows media player and it will not play so a friend of mine suggested that, so im wondering from other users will i be able to burn a downloaded movie...
