I downloaded a dew movies that are about 4.37gigs each, but they came in this folder and when you open it I get VIDEO_TS. I can also open that one and I get a whole bunch of different files that end with VOB. and IFO. I use convertXtoDVD 4 so i need to convert it to like avi or something and...

Most video converters I have found costs around $40.00 and the free downloads only partially work. With the free Real Player I am able to get most videos from the web to my hard drive, but I haven't yet figured out how to get them onto a DVD. Is it possible to do without buying new software?
