I have my ever, very, first meet this wednesday. Lately, I've haven't been eating the way I should have been. Being a cross-country runner, what should I eat? What should I stay away from? What should I eat more than, if anything?
I don't want just the general nutrition, because I'm familiar...
To be more specific, traveling by foot. I have decided that a normal trip just won't do. I want to travel by foot (and possibly hitchhiking) from where I live in San Diego, across the southern end of the country, ending somewhere in Florida. What I want to know is what should I know about this...
I know this is a crazy idea, but I'm an avid cyclist and am wishing to go on a cross-country ride to raise cancer awareness. What touring bikes are good for performance and efficiency?
properties look like? How should a tire profile look like, which avoids profile tracks on a soft basement and guarantees good cross-country properties?
These tires could be useful for indoor / outdoor model cars.
1000 or should I buy a new bike? I will not be going much off road or camping or anything, so I will not be carrying as much weight. Still, I don't want to ship my bike and start, only to end up buying something better suited.
