Iam trying to connect the sound system to my computer directly via auxiliary, but it dont play from all speakers(only subwoofer and one in front i believe) is there some setting i have to change to make it surround sound on audio in?

I mean i want to connect my home theater to the cable so i could watch my shows on the home theater

Is there a receiver available? where can i buy it from and for how much?

I have a panasonic viera tv, that has a 720p. The sony theater has 1080p. Is the home theater going to work on my tv? And the sony package says that it works for Bravia only.
