    When making music with a DAW,how do you make melodies?

    When I make songs it seems the easiest thing to make a beat, I'm having trouble making melodies with a piano or guitar.

    If i was to create my own DAW, suchg as computer MIDI, Microphone and other such?

    i am attempting to create my own DAW and need to record guitar and vocals, so how would transfer the signal from the vocals and guitar to my computer? would i have to buy specif adapters to put in the midi board? any answers will help loads =]

    It is a pretty easy connection - just connect the right and left RCA "tape outputs" to the computer audio input. I'm not sure what you are using for a computer audio interface, but just connect the "tape outputs" to the line inputs on your interface or I/O. On stereo sources into the analog...
