desume

I downloaded a ROM called DeSumE to play certain games like Pokemon Black or Final Fantasy and it works but will it make my computer sluggish or not? I need to know because other ppl in my house use this computer.

Hu, if a rom works on desume would it work on a r4i-sdhc for sure? Or does it differ? Thanks :)

When I open it and hit file >open ROM > then select my game from my desktop, Desume closes and nothing happens. What's up? Thanks 4 any help im sorry, i meant desmume
