I just burned a movie to a DVD-RW from Imation with ConvertXToDVD. The CD works on my laptop but it won't play on my DVD-Player... it just tells me "No Disc" or "Stop". And yes, I've cleaned the CD two times with no effect.

I want a free download of an easy DVD player for XP. Everything I can find is far too complicated or has phishing attached. I don't want to do anything except stick a DVD in my machine and watch it. No ripping or burning or anything fancy at all.

See, I'm looking for a program that I can burn some videos (episodes of anime/random amvs/other random videos/etc) onto a DVD, then be able to put this DVD into a DVD-Player (such as an actual dvd player, or an XBOX360) and have it have a very simple menu, just text, and very simple navigation...

ONLY the DVD-player (not the speakers)....By the way, how well can I trust the people at the repair shop?

hi I have a sony dvdplayer and i wanted to watch "friends" on it. the first 2 seasons .the movie is in avi.format. the first 2 dvds worked fine but when i tried to watch season3 also in avi format the dvdplayer said data error divix why? need help please

I'm assuming that north american tv's use SCART and whatnot, so I don't see a reason why not? I am aware that DVD's from the US/CAN will not work due to the region.
