I want to get a new DVD recorder with built-in hard drive, but I also want it to be able to receive the MPEG-4 digital signal, are there any models with that included? My existing DVD recorder can only receive the MPEG-2 signal.

it got all the channels but then some new ones came out and now the dvd- recorder does not recognize them so i cant tape them.
is there any way to update it so i can tape shows off...
