I just got an IMac a few months ago & I wondered if the new macs played blue ray DVDs.

When I put a DVD into my CD/DVD drive the disk cursor symbol comes up but then in VLC (I have also tried other programs) it says 'No Disk In Drive'. But if I put a CD in the same drive it works. The drive used to play DVDS but doesn't anymore :(
