    Dvix and Xvid are not loading half of the time?

    Hello, I am asking for advice cause I am really feed up with these two formats. I've gotten to hate them both so much... anyway unfortunately I need them to watch many streaming movies online. Half of the time when they do load up, its extremely slow the other times it doesn't load at all...

    What is the difference between Xvid and DviX codecs?

    I wient to convert some MOV files into AVI and I can see, in the "advanced" button, the choice between on codec or the other. Both for the purpose of converting MOV files to AVI's. Thanks for your help!

    Pl tell me how to use nero 8 to convert avi and dvix files into a format...

    ...playable on dvd player? Is it possible to play avi files on a normal dvd player without any conversion ?
