Anyone here studying Hebrew with "Encounters in Modern Hebrew" (by Edna Amir Coffin)? How long did you take to complete the first book - level 1?

I'm reading the book, I can see the development of her as a person through the book, but is there a certain point when she awakens? Where in the book? Thanks!
