the best one for texting?

i recently dropped my phone in water. but quickly dried it, put it in rice, and put heat on it. now when i turn it on the keyboard lights up & i can hear the sounds & it vibrates when i touch the touch screen (like usual). but both the internal/external screens are black. i can't see anything...

Im getting the lg env touch for verizon tomorrow, and i have a micro sd card for it. I know verizon does not block access to 3rd party downloads, so will i be able to download and save ringtones to my micro sd card using the phones internet browser?

I have an Env Touch phone, and for kicks and giggles, I thought it would be fun to add some languages and mess around with the voice commands. Anybody got any ideas?

Which phone is better? Feature wise, toughness, and less likely to break?
