i have got the second book on accident and want to know the name of the first one the second one is eldest

is it good or bad? what's your thoughts about it if you have read it? i want to read it because some of my friends like it and some dont so i want to hear ur thoughts about it? thank you

I personally enjoyed the book, but when I saw the movie, I thought they DESTROYED Eragon. There was so much hype around it, but I thought it was butchered and terrible. What do you think? Also, did you think they changed the plot way too much in the movie?
