I am really interested in this breed and would ideally like a miniature rather than toy. I was hoping someone would have info about where I could purchase one in Australia. I'm not interested in importing from o/s as it would be cost prohibitive.

I've seen a picture of an American Eskimo that had black fur and really blue eyes on the internet before. Does anyone know if this is a recessive trait or something? Because isn't an American Eskimo supposed to have white fur and brown eyes?
