    top or bottom bite plate, palatal expander, and braces?

    i have braces and a bottom and top palatal expander. im told ill be getting a bite plate. i have a single crossbite where my canine tooth is behind the arch-- they say i need a bite plate. would that go on the bottom or top?

    whats the average time length for a palate expander to be in??!!?

    i barely have to expand my pallet. just less than one mm. so my case isnt severe at all. so would it be around 1-2 weeks for it to be in??
