I have read the usually (Harry potter, lotr, wheel of time, malazan book of the fallen, Enders game, song of ice and fire, sword of truth, etc) but I'm looking for something new now. The longer the better, preferably thousands of pages.
I would like a book with action preferably with someone who is sent to a different realm or time or planet somehow where they have to learn the ways of he locals. It would be nice if there was some romance and comedy involved. Action is a must.

Im in one of those moods where you just gotta have a dose of romance and action with fantasy more towards twilight and harry potter and away from little women and ps i love you. also, i dont mind trying out sci-fi (had one bad experience but im ready to try again!)
