I have divx plus instaled on my computer but then i installed a program that messes with ffdshow at first it sound horrible and i tried to fix it, and now it doesn't sound at all. Someone told me to add to the black list on ffdshow, the Divx plus, but now it doesn't even play the video.

I have a .mkv file that I want to watch, but when I try to play it, there's no audio and it says the I need the DirectShow codec (when using DivX). I uninstalled DivX and dowloaded ffdshow but then Windows Media Player wouldn't even play the video. I'm not really sure if I need to change any...
