    Looking for a glazed or sugared nut recipe that creates a soft or light glaze.?

    Most recipes make a hard sugar shell that is too hard for me to chew. Teeth are not so great these days, so I stay away from hard stuff. Walnuts are fairly soft, so I use them. I love the sweetness of the sugar coating, but it's too hard.

    what exactly does it mean to deglaze, and glaze in cooking?

    Its for making caramelized onions which requires i deglaze the pot after caramelizing the onions. also, can i/should i use this method of caramelizing onions for making french onion soup.
