hey everyone my radio in the car plays when u control it from the wheel from when u go try to hit power button nothing comes on i try to put a cd in and it doesnt let me no display but i can hear the radio can someone please help me out here

yeah I don't know the exact year nodels, but I know they are both between 2000-2005

So I want to buy new rims for my car except there is a stick of some sort coming out of my hub that goes through my rim in between two of the lug nuts. Does anyone know what this is? I don't want to buy new rims and then have to either cut this off or drill a whole through a new rim.
