    problem with external portable hard drive (seagate goflex 500gb)?

    hi i have a seagate 500gb portable hard drive that holds all my music and now when i plug it in i cant use it the lights come on and are steady you can hear the drive turning and then the lights suddenly start a constant flashing i go into computer and the seagate goflex hard drive is not even...

    Seagate goflex not working on a 3.0 usb port?

    I bought a seagate goflex hard disk today. The problem is that the hard disk does not work with the 3.0 usb port but works fine with the 2.0 port. The laptop is new as well and definitely has a usb 3.0 port. I checked device manager but there's no problem with the usb hub. the device lights up...
