    I want a factory one and my dvd player is the HD-XA2KN model. I got it for $25 at a Swapmeet and it works but never came with a remote

    How much time can a Panasonic HD/DVD Recorder take to perform self-check?

    I have a DMR-EH50 which has been self-checking for an hour now. It started switching itself on and off for some reason. I disconnected the power to force a reset and it has been self-checking ever since.
