Like when I turn on the headset and sit it next to my ps3 then i tell the ps3 to search for bluetooth devices and it says scanning and nothing happens. please help?

the light stays on after a charge. clicking and holding the call button for 3 seconds or even a minute doesn't turn the light off or take it out of pairing mode. it charged overnight and the light never turned off even after unplugging. is there a general reset button?
