Inks, watercolors, poster colors or other?

I am doing a book report and I need 3 reasons why a book should have illustrations. So far I have: 1) to show what the characters look like 2) to show what the setting looks like 3)?????? Please Help! Thanks :)

The head is striped off the bolt on the Passenger side and I need to have the rack replaced, It keeps leaking badly.

I am going for my CDL in Wisconsin and need to see the various parts of the truck. I need to see what I am working with. I have no truck available to me; until test day.
