When you convert something into silhouette in illustrator, it automatically smooth the outline out so it doesn't look jagged and pixelated, what do you call such process? Smoothing out outline? Etc. Thanks

Ive installed CS5 and it loads the splash screen then loads the program but 3 seconds later it crashes.

I couldn't download CS4 properly because my RAM is about 112MB available or something and I need 512MB which the System Info says I had from the beginning. How do I fix this without any upgrades? Can't do upgrades at this time and i was able to download Photoshop CS4 with no problems.

When I am making objects or some text on a black background the edges look all gray and nasty with some colors like blue/red. white looks fine. If I remove the anti-aliasing then the problem is fixed but the edges are jaggy. Anyone know how to get rid of the gray?
