It is not only expensive...but extremely frustrating. Can you / and then does it make sense to replace the in-tank pump with an external pump that fits on the chassis that would be much easier to replace? Has anyone done this? What are the pros and cons? MY BAD...I meant in-tank fuel pump.

how do i go about removing the rust ?

i have a 1963 ford f100 and i need to set the valves i think. well the motor has never been rebuilt. actully the head has never been pulled. one of the valves is "tapping". How do i set the valves. ive only set valves on a OHV Briggs and Stratton. it is a 223 inline six.
