intervideo

We got a laptop with Intervideo WinDVd downloaded onto it. I inserted a DVD and opened the program up. I pressed the play button and it wouldn't play.

...connect it to my tv w/ HDMI no sound? if the disc is dolby digital it plays sound no problem, but if its dts nothing. is there a different player software anyone recommends or perhaps a software patch i can download?

it plays the DVD but the picture doesn't come up. all i can hear is the sound.
