itrip

I have a ipad and son found small gadget called itrip and it can work with the ipad but can't hear music or anything else so wondering if I need to do something more to get use out of it! Can't keep up with all this technology!! LOL

I have a 2nd generation ipod touch and I'm thinking of buying the Griffin itrip to play my music AND to charge my ipod...I need it for a car trip tomorrow and I'm wondering if I need to have my ipod playing over the speakers for it to charge my ipod? I don't want to bother the people in the car...

i have an iphone and an itrip.. i got the itrip from a mac store, im not sure what the brand is, but i plug the itrip into the cigarette lighter and its got one of the station changers on it... Will it work in my car if i use it with my iphone? They are both mac products so I would imagine that...
