Hi I have a 1998 GMC Z71 with the 5.7L motor and a 5 speed and I currently have a Airaid throttle body spacer on it and I would like to add a nice intake to my truck and I am honestly debating between a K&N FIPK cold air intake and a Volant cold air intake I know that the Volant has a inclosed...
I have a 2002 ZL 600 EFI ESR and I want to put a higher performance intake on it so I thought I would start with the air filter. I thought I could remove the air box and just replace it with the K&N air filters or the UNI pod filters.
I just bought this car and want to install a K&N air filter, but I am unable to remove the box over the air filter. Anyone installed one on their TL and know how to remove it?
...(since it is covered and stuff)? Would a K&N air filter on a s500 mercedes 2001 make a difference in the sound (since it is covered and stuff)?
and what are the risks
...(since it is covered and stuff)? would a plain filter on a s500 mercedes 2001 make a difference in the sound (since it is covered and stuff)
and what are the risks i heard it messes up sum sensors and stuff...
I have a K&N Air Intake filter thats reusable however i dont know exactly how to clean it and how often it needs to be cleaned. Can anyone explain this to me?
OK so i bought a k&n filter for my 1998 Chevy 1500 and they said to get more power i should take off the top of the air box so i did that but i also want to take off the bottom one to. but i need something to set the filter on or at least support it,what should i use?
I bought it for my civic for $250 which is the best price I could find. My friends say I got ripped off but I saw these things for over 350. Did I get ripped off or did I walk away with a fair deal
