My Nissan Xterra has a roof rack and I was standing next to a 13ft kayak thinking how will a 14'4 ft kayak fit on top on my Xterra. I'm about to buy the 2012 Malibu Xfactor and wanted to know if anyone knows if its possible to put a kayak that long on top of the roof rack. I would like to avoid...

in your opinion with is the best kayak for me. i am 5'9 and 155 pounds. I have never kayaked before, but i plan on using it in lakes for the first couple months in norther california where i live, but in about 5 months i am moving down to san diego and i plan on ocean fishing with it down there...

...any ideas or photos.? I have a short bed Chevy S-10 and will transporting (2) tandem kayaks.
