For Christmas, I wanted to make my boyfriend a scarf. I have never knitted/crochet/ect. anything before, at all. What would be the easiest method to go with?
If it matters, I'm left handed and I want to use two colors.

I'm trying to follow a pattern (easy enough, or so I thought...) for a baby hat.
Bit stuck now, as instructions read:
Row 1 K2,* P1,K1 repeat from * to end.
Repeat row 1 for next 9 rows.
Have knitted two rows, purled one then knitted another - so now what? Where do I repeat from - do I knit...
