I bought a used truck Ford F-150. How do I find out if its XLT, XTR or Lariat?

This is not your granddaddy’s pick-up truck. It’s powered by a biturbocharged 3.5-liter V-6. It has an interior that wouldn’t look out of place at your local IKEA. The gear selector sits on the floor. It has air-conditioned seats for crying out loud! And navigation! Blasphemy?

...and an 08? both of the trucks that i am looking at have roughly the same amount of miles and they are very similar. which would be a better truck to purchase?

I have as said above a 2006 fordt f150 supercrew lariat with the 5.4. Recently I have had my brakes howl when I apply pressure to the pedal. It is not all the time though, it only happens about 40% into the pedal push for about half a second, unless I hold it in that spot then it will keep...
